Set on 20 beautiful acres, conveniently loncated in Kearney, is a historic 100-year-old home with three lovely barns as well as indoor and outdoor arenas. Mature trees line the drive of this peaceful, horse-lovers setting.
This property is owned by Lisa Hillmer, and Lisa operates her Linden Hill Stables here, specializing in the training of the American Saddlebred horse for show and pleasure, and in Saddle Seat riding.
Lisa has life-long experience with horses, in their daily care, training, showing and in riding instruction. She has been very successful in the starting and finishing of many horses including Champion and World's Champion show horses.
Lisa was a graduate of Stephens College in 1990 with a degree in Journalism and Communication and a minor in Equestrian Science.
Our goal is to assist you in attaining your goal, be it riding for pleasure or riding competitively; developing a young horse or developing a young rider. The results of our dedication to this goal are apparent in the success our clients have achieved.
We offer the finest in service and facilities. We are experienced, professional and caring. We offer a clean and healthy environment for you and your horse. Your horse will recieve the very best dietary, medical, Farrier and personal care available. Riders are given individualized attention with safe and steady progress assured.
We are located near the Smithville Lake Horse Trails and Watkins Mill if you enjoy trail riding.

Linden Hill Stables Services
Board: Horses will be fed hay and prepared horse feed twice daily. Stalls will be kept clean and picked up daily. Fresh bedding will be provided weekly and fresh water available at all times.
Pasture Boarding: Horses that are kept in pasture have ten acres to roam and are provided fresh water, hay and prepared horse feed twice daily.
Board with Complete Care: In addition to regular board services, horses will be given a minimal exercise program and personal care (approximately 3-4 times weekly).
Training, Showing, and Riding Lessons are also offered.
